Sandisk is experimenting with doing away with boring old thumb drives in favor of something a little more personal. Their new prototype jewelry is designed as an accessory first, and technology second. Amazingly well hidden within the stylish exterior is a miniscule USB plug for access to it's treasure trove of digital memories. These are not yet on the market but should be soon - keep your eyes (and pocket book) peeled.

We couldn't quite get our hands on the LG Watch Phone concept (and they were stopping all non-press individuals from even taking photos, which always seems strange to us) but we did get to talk to an LG rep about what the concept may evolve into and what features are working already. The screen is gorgeous and they've built the system to work with just three buttons, including a jog button of sorts, which lets you scroll easily...

Think Lego Mindstorms meets Radio Shack. Bug Labs has been working on their Bug Base—a fully modifiable, open-source gadget building block system. The base itself includes specs similar to "a three-year-old laptop" but includes WiFi and ethernet, USB and more.
